Troubleshooting and Problems

Hi,

Intentionally posted in the "Troubleshooting and Problems" forum as this is only occurring for one user. When they are trying to validate the define every single code list is displaying the DD0033 P21 ID error. Yet, when I run the validator I do not get this problem.

For obvious reasons, I cannot send the Define.XML itself but attached is photo of the messages.

I was wondering if Pinnacle21 Community v3.0 installation is supported under VDI environment? How?

We have a VDI environment and we are trying to figure out how we can install P21 v3.0 efficiently . From FAQ, I figure that portable version is no longer available for v3.0.

I was wondering when we install Pinnacle 3.0 can we get all the folders in one location similar to previous versions as some of them are copied to personal folders.   Also anyone who uses this should install as well. Thanks a lot.

Hi everyone! I am stumped on an issue I am having with P21E. I am trying to validate analysis datasets and a define, and when I use P21E, it uploads the zip files and then simply says "Failed". Has anyone ever seen this before?

I remember we have the option of renaming the validation report name in 2.2.0 version.  Do we have the same option in 3.0? I don't see that.  Can you please guide if that option exists.  Thanks a lot.

Some more questions regarding CLI that came up during installations at customers ...

a) in the past it was possible to obtain the report as XML. Is this still so?
If yes, what is the command line parameter to indicate XML output report is requested?
Some of my customers have processes where they transform the XML to PDF for internal team discussions and for archival.

b) what is the command line parameter to indicate that the input files are in the modern CDISC-Dataset-XML format?

On request of one of my customers: in the past it was possible to start the Validator GUI from command line (or from within other software) and populate the GUI fields.

Is this still possible in 3.0.0?

If yes, what are the parameters needed to fill the GUI fields? Where can we find the documentation?
