Troubleshooting and Problems

Anyone have an issue with Validator just hanging after you start a validation.  This does not do this for the local administrator account on windows, only domain accounts.  Recently started happening.

I am getting error DD0028 for the Trial Indication Type in the define.xml validation.  We have CT code C49652 in the define, which matches up with the 2016-03-25 version of CT that I am using.  When I checked the CT file that I downloaded from Pinnacle21, it is referencing C66736, which I believe is the code that was used in later version of CT than the one I have.

please find the below steps and error which we face only in VDI instance . For some reason we are not able to run in updated VDI ( but we are able to run it in other VDIs and also local machine ) …Here are the steps:

Should I expect any possible issue when running Pinnacle 21 Community 2.2.0 on Windows 10 (compared to running on Windows 7)?

Did anyone notice any bugs / unexpected outcome?

Is the latest SDTM CT dated 2017-12-22 supported by Pinnacle21? I notice that it is not available at Pinnacle21 site (https://www.pinnacle21.com/downloads/cdisc-terminology), and when I try to feed the validator the file from the NCI site, the validator does not seem to use it. Any explanation?

I am not able to generate an Excel specification using the Define.xml Generator. It does not matter whether I try to generate it from XPT files or from a define.xml document. The progress window opens (screenshot below), but then nothing happens.

When I open the Pinnacle21 application I get a blank screen with 'node-webkit' it the upper left corner. Do I need to install something else?

Dear ,

I tried to validate an ADaM Define.xml package (i.e. SAS portable files of ADaM datasets and the Define.xml belonging to them), but Pinnacle21 crashed on that several times. Is there a solution to that?

By the way, I noticed that the XML-files with the ADaM Terminology ODMs are extremely small; actually, they hardly contain any contents.
