Troubleshooting and Problems

I am trying to run the validator on an ADaM dataset without passing a define.xml file.  The report runs, but it lists only "Missing define.xml file" with severity of "Reject" under the issues summary and doesn't seem to do any other processing.  What am I missing?  How can I run the validator without using define.xml?

We did some testing using the Pinnacle 21 Community v3.0.2 running the same data using GUI and CLI and noticed there were some differences in the details sheet. 
Note that exactly the same settings were used for both runs (file SDTM-IG 3.2 (FDA).xml used from different location but matches the file on the C drive). Used Jar file: p21-client-1.0.2.jar. Still, the CLI report seems to have a bug in the details sheet. Please find attached both reports.

Initially I could run Pinnacle 21 3.0.0, but now I get following error:

A JavaScript error occurred in the main process

Uncaught Exception:

As of version 3.0.2 of P21 Community the validator seems to be broken on Windows 10.

Installation goes smoothly but the validator screen continuously displays a spinning circle with a message stating: "Loading engines and configurations".

Reinstalling P21 doesn't help.

Could someone please advise?

We are working on Pinnacle21 Community v3.0.x install in our place and need some guidance. I see that in order to get new CT we need to login on Pinnacle21 website. Please see below my questions.

1) Wondering if user can use generic account e.g. gmail etc or need to have company email? What is the password retention policy for Pinnacle21.com account e.g. need to change in 90 days? what happen if account is inactive for extended period of time?

2) Is there a way to stop automatic update and still able to get the latest CTs?

When launching the Pinnacle 21 Community (3.0.1) setup .exe file the status bar hangs on initializing. Can anyone help?

A sponsor we work with has historically had multiple CROs create SDTM datasets.  They now want to check for and enforce some standards across those studies - beyond the standard SDTM-IG checks.
