Troubleshooting and Problems

Hi Pinnacle 21 Community

I have tried to generate a Define Spec from some XPT files this morning and I am now getting the below error. Everything was fine a few weeks ago, last time I used Pinnacle 21. However I have recently changed some Java files to accommodate Oracle so I have a feeling perhaps something broke.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

I'm trying to install SNOMED (preferrably 3/1/2020).  When I click on  "Install SNOMED" and type in "2020-03-01" and then the browse button, the folder from which I recently installed MedDRA dictionary pops up.

Doesn't Pinnacle 21 provide  the SNOMED dictionary for installation?

I entered comments and explanations on multiple queries and closed them.  After the next round of P21, the comments and explanations had disappeared on these and they are now 'Open'.  There is no audit trail that I can find to show my previous work. Other people on my team have noted the same thing. I've noticed this on SD1076 and SD0063.  This is causing much duplicate work.  

Why is this happening?  Is there a fix?

Hello, I have 2 users who use the community 3.0.2 version of Pinnacle21 who are getting the attached error. 

It seems that this forum identifies the same exact issue, where the program is trying to access a path in a mapped drive folder - https://www.pinnacle21.com/forum/pinnacle-21-stuck-initializing-when-installing .

When trying to validate a PC, POOLDEF, and PP domain, Pinnacle displays this error message that the validation cannot be conducted:

I am trying to validate using SEND IG 3.1, and the 2019-09-27 CT. The file paths needed to be crossed out in the image to maintain client confidentiality.

As of version 3.0.2 of P21 Community the validator seems to be broken on Windows 10.

Installation goes smoothly but the validator screen continuously displays a spinning circle with a message stating: "Loading engines and configurations".

I checked with our security team and found no problems with the security system.

I am looking specifically for version 2016-09-08, although it does seem like there might be more missing versions from the drop down list. Is this something that we can manually configure on our end?

Hi,

we used DIPARMCD='DEVTYPE' and DIPARM='Device Type' according the CDISC Controlled Terminology Device Identifier Short Name but we get ERRORs for SD1234 with Variable column on Details tab equal 'SPDEVID, DIPARMCD' and Value column correctly displaying the value of SPDEVID but incorrectly displaying the value of DIPARMCD compared to the data. The report displays DIPARMCD='TYPE' although the data set has a value of DIPARMCD='DEVTYPE'. It looks like this check does not work as expected. Can you please check?

I tried the default control terms files and those downloaded from P21 server but got no luck.
