When things just don't seem to work
Hi All,
I am wondering if I add to or alter the file SDTM Terminology Fixed.xml for the Validator will this accomplish the goal of modify and/or configuring sponsor defined checks for validation ADaM and SDTM codelist checks?
Inquirying mind want to know.
Thanks,
Paul
Why am I getting 'PARSE_ERROR' for few domains, eventhough xpt file and define.xml has these domians listed. Also, these domians are not getting processed, Why?
Thank you,
Aj

Hi,
I'm running version 1.2.1 and after running and viewing output report, nothing was written to the Details sheet. I have information written to the Dataset Summary and Issue Summary sheets, but without the Details sheet populated, you don't know which errors go with which datasets, or which records in the datasets are causing them. What would be a likely reason for the sheet not populating, or a way to troubleshoot it?
Thanks,
Craig
Hello,
I reported this before (when using validator 1.1) and thought this might be fixed with the next version. I still see the SDTM metadata 3.1.1 spreadsheet for the SU domain has the VISIT and VISITNUM labels mixed up. This creates a false positive error - That is your dataset is correct but the validator evaluates them improperly.
Can you check this again?
Thanks

Hi
I receive Error SD0003 when running the OpenCDISC validation (version 1.1 through necessity) on both the data and the define simulatenous.
However, this error is only applicable to 4 date variables (RFSTDTC & RFENDTC in DM, and SVSTDTC & SVSTDTC in SV). After investigation, no obvious issue can be seen with the structure of the data/time, for example 2010-01-25T12:00 (which seems ISO 8601 compliant).
Hello,
I modified SD0017 to prevent it from firing for one of our custom domains (MQ). However it continues to show up in the report. How do I turn off this check for a specific domain?
<val:Regex ID="SD0017" Variable="%Domain%TEST" Test=".{0,40}" When="%Domain%DOMAIN != 'MQ'" Message="Invalid value for --TEST variable" Description="Identifies records that violate condition [LENGTH(Name of Measurement, Test or Examination) less than or equal to 40 characters]" Category="Format" Type="Warning"/>
Hi,
I noticed that for SUPP-- datasets, the Class is displayed on TOC as 'Special Purpose' and Description is displayed as 'SUPP--' (where -- is the domain name)
Should the Class='Relationship' and Description='Supplemental Qualifiers' ?
Thank you
Vanessa
Hi,
I am using OpenCDISC for the first time on a small PK dataset. I have succesfully downloaded the applicatoin and am able to open the GUI. The problem arises in actually running the validation. I receive the following error message. Any explanation or tips?
Hello,
I am using standard config files and Controlled Term files. Validator works fine until half way through then it grinds to a halt - process 10 records per second.
Turns out it is a Java issue. I had JRE 1.5 on my machine but I also had 1.4_19. When I upgraed to 1.6 the issue is resolved. Does the validator handle multiple versions of JRE on a machine?

Hi,
I tried to create a define.xml with the latest Version (1.2.1) and used a codelist in the same format as it is specified in the template.
The define.xml is created, but only the first line from each code list is present there.
Am I doing something wrong? The same codelist works fine with the previous version.
Thanks, Sandra
