When things just don't seem to work
Using Community 2.0 - Validator. Select SDTM and pick XPT files. Click the "Validate" button. New window opens and says "Starting". Nothing happens. Application is hung.
Launch Task Manager. Kill Community application. Switch to Processes view in Task Manager.
Restart Community again doing the same things while watching Processes in Task Manager. Saw JAVA process start runing the CLI JAR file. It only lived for 2 seconds and disappeared.
Hi ,
I am running open CDISC 1.5 for SDTM 3.1.3 validation and getting SD0063 warning: SDTM/dataset variable label mismatch for Supplemental Qualifiers dataset. Please suggest what is missing. label is matching with IG.

Hello,
I have two part question regarding define.xml hyperlinks:
1.) Recently our company changed the IE from version 8 to version 10 and none of the links are now working for define.xml but if I open define.xml using Firefox all links are working except the link for "Dataset". If I am in the middle of the define.xml and try to hit the "Dataset", it doesn't work.
2.) Dose the program needs to be altered in order to use the IE v10 or is there any quick fix available.
Thanks,
Regards,
Ankur
On one study we're working on, a co-worker noticed that there were more issues showing up when OpenCDISC 2.0 was run interactively than when it was run from the command line. Looking closely at the results, it appears that the command-line invocation of the validator did not use the controlled terminology rules with OpenCDISC IDs of CT2001, CT2002, CT2004, and CT2005. (These were the only CT rules triggered by the data--CT2003 and CT2006 appeared in neither report.)
So we're currently running the command-line validator and I'm trying to update our procedure to use validator-cli-2.0.0.jar. In our reports for TS, we're getting notices that indicate that the validator is not seeing the UNII and NDF-RT files that are provided with the system:
Hi,
I am having trouble getting the value level metadata in the define.xml.
Is there a sample spreadsheet that I can see, or guidance on this?
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Is there an established schedule for the auto-updates to OpenCDISC Community 2.0? I have read a number of posts to which the reply was 'thanks, this will be fixed in the next Auto-update'. As a related question, is there a way other than checking the date on the files in \components\config\ to know if the config files have been updated? There is a version within these files but is the version surfaced somehow in the documentation?
Thanks.
We are often required to validate using a specific version of the OpenCDISC engine, so we have historically kept multiple versions of OpenCDISC side-by-side; we have a folder containing subfolders opencdisc-validator-1.3, opencdisc-validator-1.4, opencdisc-validator-1.5, etc., which are the names of the original zipped files we downloaded.
I am getting this error when running OpenCDISC. Any suggestions?:

Hi. I run Open CDISC community 2.0 with CLI. When comparing the output to the GUI output, the number of issues differs, there are more issues shown in the GUI output than in the CLI output.
It seems that CT2001 ... CT2006 check do not run in CLI.
I have run both versions with the same parameters and also removed the new dictionaries UNII and NDF-RT from the GUI to have comparable results. Are there additional parameters to be set in the CLI to get the same output?
Following CLI call I am using:
