When things just don't seem to work
It appears that as of the 2014-06-27 release, the controlled terminology file "QS Terminology.txt" has been renamed to "QS-FT Terminology.txt" to reflect the fact that it now includes terminology for functional tests.
Is it necessary to rename the file to match the old name when I place it in Config\Data\CDISC\SDTM\2014-06-27 ? Or wil OpenCDISC read any correctly-formatted TXT files out of that directory regardless of the name?
Using SDTMIG 3.2 config, in version 1.5 of OpenCDISC, the variable --PSTRGU triggers 'SDTM Required variable not found' in a sponsor defined interventions domain. This variable is not required in any other intervention domain in the SDTMIG. I think this must be a problem with your config file. This should not be required.
We have OpenCDISC installed and it takes many minutes or never for the OpenCDISC window to appear.
We have JRE 1.6.0_17
Actually, as of now, this app is not useable.
Can anyone help?

I tried to generate a define.xml from a set of Dataset-XML files, but the result is define.xml that just contains empty GlobalVariable child elements and an empty MetaDataVersion element.
When using xpt files, it works fine (although I would love it when the tool also generates the CodeLists which does not seem the case, although I provide a config version of the SDTM).
Can you confirm that this feature does not work yet with Dataset-XML files, or am I doing something wrong?
Best regards,
Jozef
Hello;
Windows 7 64-bit operating system 8 gB of ram.
When I start client.bat it tells me that it can not find javaw.
I have changed validator-gui-1.5.jar to validator-gui-1.7.jar.
My enviromental variables are as follows.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin
I do not have quotes around it, as none of the other path statements have quotes.
I have run client-correcting.bat and client-debug.bat.
Both say that java can not be found.
I have used an earlier version but that does not seem to be working.
Anybody have an issue with a CT rule that checks the numeric value 1.14?
I have that value in a codelist .txt file but Validator flags that record as an Error
I'm using Validator version 1.3
