Define.xml

When importing the validation metadata to create the define which variables should the validation metadata be created for.   Which check boxes should be selected?

When Japanese is included in the path of the installation folder of pinnacle 2.1.3, it can be selected in the CT drop down box, but the result is different.

 Specification for define.xml validation?

Using Pinnacle21 community v 2.2.0 I'm receiving Missing required 'SASFieldName' value for 'ItemDef' but on the very lines specified in the details, the define.xml file has an ItemDef with a value specified for the SASFieldName attribute. A sample line is:

<ItemDef OID="IT.PC.PCORRES.QT3191621" Name="QT3191621" DataType="float" Length="16" SASFieldName="QT3191621" SignificantDigits="11" def:DisplayFormat="19.11">

In define.xml for ADaM, ARM was included and "dummy-csr.pdf" was used as a reference file in ARM.

When I ran PINNACLE21 v2.2.0 with Define.xml config, DD0078 was not fired although "dummy-csr.pdf" was not located in the appropriate folder.

(DD0078 was fired if I used PINNACLE21 v2.1.3.)

Is it a bug ?

I generated define.xml in P21 community version. I added suppae.qnam in codelist tab with code=AETRTEM and decode = "Treatment Emergent Flag". I have valuelevel as suppae.qnam.eq.aetrtem and I have the same in whereclause too. But, the label doesn't get displayed in define.xml. It works fine for --TESTCDs only QNAMs have issues. Please let me know what I am doing wrong. How do I fix it?

I'd like to ask how do I add NCI code to Codelist Term.

I got a meassge said: Missing NCI Code for Term in Codelist 'Parameter Null Flavor' .

NCI code is missing for term "NAV", which i had expected it to be generated automatically. The thing is it doesn't allow me to add the value in to that missing NCI code column.

Any suggestion ? Thank you in advance!

What is the purpose of the Expression Context and Expression Code columns on the Methods worksheet in the define specifications workbook? Where can I find documentation on these columns?

I'm experiencing differing behavior when I validate define.xml using the define.xml configuration file and Community version 2.2.  If I lowercase DOMAIN and NAME in order to match the SASDatasetName attribute, issues such as DD0028, DD0029, DD0031, DD0032, DD0034, DD0024, DD0039, and DD0059 do not surface.  When I uppercase these attributes, the checks appear to fire and Pinnacle 21 Community will report these issues should any exist in the define.xml/metadata.
