Forums: Troubleshooting and Problems
Hi Jozef,
We cleaned up some of the GUI code for the 1.4 release, and I suspect this parameter was accidentally broken in the process. I'll take a look at what changed and get things fixed up, sorry for the inconvenience.
Regards,
Tim
Hi Tim,
I noticed that the same is unfortunately true for -DF:Define.
I looked through the SVN but could not find my way very well. I will install the "Subversion source code control " software and try to download the full code and try to find out myself - it is getting a bit urgent ...
Is there a short intro/manual somewhere how to download the source code?
Many thanks in advance,
Jozef

Thanks, I could now download the source code, and get it running in Eclipse.
I analysed the class ValidatorClient.java and found that (if I am not wrong) the textfield that should be populated with the path to the define.xml is named "txtDefine".
But I do not see any place where it is tried to populate it.
So I looked for something that I do know that works, e.g. the combobox "cmbCdisc". But also for that one (although I know it works) I could not find the code where the item is selected for which the information was passed by the programm argument.
I do see that the parameters are stored using "DEFAULT_PROPERTIES", but I do not see where they are used to populate the GUI items.
Can you give me a few hints where I need to look?
Many thanks in advance,
Jozef
Thanks for this great new version and for the support for SDTM 1.3!
I noticed that in the new version 1.4, starting the software with the parameter "-SD:Define=..." does not seem to work anymore. This parameter passes the location of the define.xml file to the program and prefills the corresponding field in the GUI.
Did you change anything in the way parameters are passed? The other ones still seem to work ok.
Thanks in advance,
Jozef
