Forums: Troubleshooting and Problems
Hi,
You can still create custom configurations of standards. You will need to create a subfolder called "custom" inside of the "configs" folder (alongside the engine versions).
An example of this path would be: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Pinnacle 21 Community\configs\custom\
Any custom XML files you place in here will be picked up automatically next time the application starts.

Brilliant - thanks Trevor. Is there more of a user's guide/manual out there that is more detailed than what's on the website and not as much of a maze than what's in the code repository?
Hi -
We don't have a user guide but you can always post to the forum if you have any questions. We also plan on coming out with an FAQ document soon.
Thanks! A.
Hi all,
In Community version 2.2.0 I was able to easily add custom configurations of the standard define.xml which we used to conduct early and mid-study validations for which not all of the validation rules would necessarily apply. Adding these additional files int he \compnents\config folder wold cause them to appear in the desktop application. I have yet to figure this out for the 3.0.0 version. Any hints would be appreciated.
Cheers.
