Since this weekend a few of us are getting the following error: 'No internet connection - Reconnect to get the latest updates, configs, and notifications.'  We are all on the latest version.  We can still run the validation but the issue is some of us are getting additional warnings on our report output that 'Problems with your Validator installation detected which may cause inaccurate validation results' while others are not.  Obviously it's not an internet connection issue, so wondering if others are seeing this or know what's going on? 

Okay so I just saw old posts about this being fixed in v3.1, but I don't see where the information is to give to our network team to get around the firewall issue with AWS.  If someone can point me to that, it'd be much appreciated!

Hello Joanna,

Community 3.1.0 uses AWS with CloudFront Content Delivery Network to ensure high download speeds all over the world. This requires reaching a dynamic set of IP addresses.

To resolve firewall issues in 3.1.0, we recommend whitelisting inbound/outbound TCP protocol traffic in port 443 for Community executable files.
Default paths for these files in system-wide installed Community are:

Main Community 3.1.0 Application file
C:\Program Files (x86)\Pinnacle 21 Community\Pinnacle 21 Community.exe

Java executable file (for 64-bit systems)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Pinnacle 21 Community\resources\app.asar.unpacked\components\java64\bin\java.exe

Java executable file (for 32-bit systems)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Pinnacle 21 Community\resources\app.asar.unpacked\components\java32\bin\java.exe

Default paths for per-user installation are all similar, but instead of "Program Files" they are inside
C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Programs\Pinnacle 21 Community\
