Questions about creating and validating Define.xml
Hi,
I want to create an Excel specification for define.xml using CLI for OCC 2.0.1. I've checked the validator-cli-2.0.1 file, and as far I can see it can't be done right now? I get this when I type help:
General Parameters
-type SDTM|ADaM|SEND|Define|Custom (SDTM)
Source Data Parameters
-source <path>
Hi,
When the “CRF” was combined with other ORIGIN values (e.g. “eDT, CRF”), then link of CRF page(s) wasn’t developed correctly.
Hi,
I have my links working in the OpenCDISC Community Define XML generator.
I have 1 entry in the Documents tab:
blankcrf Annotated Case Report Form blankCRF.pdf
Hello,
Is there a way to add line breaks, or blank lines when populating the description column within the methods and comments tabs in the define.xlsx?
For example, if I have the text "I would like a line break, or a blank line" as a comment, but I want it to come out in the define.xml as:
I would like a line break,
or a blank line
Thank you in advance for your help.
Tom
Hi,
I'm trying to generate define.xml 2.0 using the Open CDISC Community but I'm having some issues with the value level metadata. The columns 'Where', 'Type' and 'Length' are populated correctly, but 'Variable' column are not populated. And also the links to the variables in the Where Clause is not working.
Do I have to name the where clauses in some special way in the Excel spec? You can find an extract of Value Level and Where Clauses tabs below.
Hope that you can answer my question!

Hi, I've run openCDISC many times on xpt files with and without the define document. I'm being asked to run OpenCDISC on the define.xml only (no corresponding xpt files). Does this make sense? If so, how would I do that? the OpenCDISC validator doesn't seem to want to start when I just plug the define.xml in without the xpt files.
thanks!
