Forums: Troubleshooting and Problems
Hi James,
You can use a sample define.xml file from CDISC define.xml v2.0 package to generate specifications in MS Excel format.
Kind Regards,
Sergiy
Thanks Sergiy. This is a really cool tool. I did create the spreadsheet from the define.xml and tried to mimic it in my define.xml. Still don't have values for domain or variable in my value-level metadata section.
I am running into the value-level metadata issue, I think. I've seen it mentioned elsewhere in the forum. I cut and paste something below. Do you when they patch that mentioned (auto update) will happen?
I'm trying for a workaround, but I don't know define that well.

Hi Sergiy,
I also face the same problem. I also used CDISC example2.0 to create a excel spec and then converted it to define.xml.
But the Links for DAORRES, QVAL are still not working.
The Variable names in Value Level Metadata in define xml are blank.
Thank you,
Ivy
Hi Ivy,
Please try to use a new 2.0.1 version avaiable for download.
Kind Regards,

Hi,
I am having trouble getting the value level metadata in the define.xml.
Is there a sample spreadsheet that I can see, or guidance on this?
Thanks for your help.
