Past Issue still occurring

Hello, I have 2 users who use the community 3.0.2 version of Pinnacle21 who are getting the attached error.

It seems that this forum identifies the same exact issue, where the program is trying to access a path in a mapped drive folder - https://www.pinnacle21.com/forum/pinnacle-21-stuck-initializing-when-installing .

I have tried all recommendations from that thread, and ensured that the user had uninstalled / removed the pinnacle21-community folder from Appdata > Local . I also had one user delete all pinnacle 21 folders from the mapped drive.

My users are currently having to use older versions of the program through old install files, but would like to use the newer versions with the GUI. I see that the next update, 3.1, will have custom installation paths. Is there a estimated time of that update?

Hi Joeseph,

The only portable solution that would support mapped drives is P21 Community CLI.

The incoming 3.1.0 update that will support custom installation paths is still work in progress. Unfortunately, I cannot tell the estimated release time yet.
