Hi,
The Validator doesn't actually attach supplemental qualifier data to the original data set in the sense that it unpivots it, but it does validate both sources of data. This includes checking for matching reference records in the source data set based on the data in the supplemental qualifier data set.
What sort of additional checking were you wondering about?
Regards,
Tim
The check I was interested in was to see if SUPPxx could be successfully re-attached to the xx parent domain. It sounds like although you don't actually re-attach them, the check for matching reference records should suffice. I realize a sponsor should check this themselves, just thought an additional check here would be beneficial.
Sorry if this is posted somewhere already or covered in documentation ... perhaps I missed it. Does the SDTM validator re-attach the SUPPxx data sets to the parent domains, thereby checking the content of SUPPxx as opposed to jsut the structure of SUPPxx?
