Downloading the new updated SDTM Terminology.txt

Hi,

I downloaded the new SDTM Terminology.txt from http://evs.nci.nih.gov/ftp1/CDISC/SDTM/ and added it in the folder
C:\OpenCdisc\opencdisc-validator\config\data (and renamed the old to SDTM Terminology_old.txt) Then I started the Open CDISC and submitted a study, but in the result file I got the message that several rules couldn't be performed due to that they couldn't find the SDTM Terminology.txt, e.g.

Validation rule CT0011 could not be executed because required data from FILE:TAB:C:\OpenCdisc\opencdisc-validator\config/data/SDTM Terminology.txt could not be found.

Isn't it possible to do this or what do I need to do to make it work?

Hi Linda,

The new SDTM Terminology file from EVS site is corrupt. It has extra carriage returns on lines 1458, 1460, 2110, 2111, 2112, 2113, and it has thousands of extra tabs at the end of each line.

I have fixed the file and attached it to the post above. Please give it a try and let me know if it works for you.

I have also notified the CDISC Terminology team so that they can get this issue resolved at the source.
