Hi,

Maybe a stupid question, but if I understand it correct the validator for define.xml (version 2) is using a schematron to validate the define document. Where can I find this schematron?

I am trying to assess the update from Pinnacle 21 community version 2.0.1 to version 2.1.1, and I was comparing the config files to see what was changes. For SDTM and ADaM this works quite well, but for define it looks like the logic is not in the config file but somewhere else (schematron). Therefore I am interested to see the schematron.

thanks,

Kind regards,
Hans

I looked too, but couldn't find it. So I guess the software is (unfortunately) not using Schematron anymore (Pinnacle21, please correct me if I am wrong). The 1.4 versions still had one for define.xml 1.0.
If you don't get an answer in the next days, please contact me (you can easily find out my e-mail address), as I do have a Schematron for define.xml 2.0, and we are surely looking for partners to enhance and further develop it, and making it public. The reason we find that important is that Schematron provides a transparent way to define rules that are as well human-readable as machine-executable.

Hi Hans,

As I understand starting with 2.1.0 define.xml validation was fully moved to the ContentValidator class. Schematron from 2.0.1 can be found on bitbucket.
