Halt auto-updates for P21 3.1.x?

Hi P21,

Are there any ways to enable functionalities to halt auto-updates for P21 v3.1.x+ Community for a certain amount of time?

Sometimes users often run into the situation where they have to suddenly face new checks right before a deliverable because of auto-updates - there were mentionings of this that the updates can be delayed for 30 days but we're never really sure how to enable this in the community version.

Could you please kindly advise how this can be enabled? Thank you.

Hi Sherry,

When a new validation engine is introduced (e.g., "FDA (1907.2)"), the previous one is still available as "Legacy" (e.g., "FDA Legacy (1903.1)") for ~6 months to avoid problems you described.

Thank you for your prompt response Sergiy, so does this mean that FDA Legacy (1903.1) would always be reserved to contain the previous version? E.g. if there is a next version after 1907.2 then 1907.2's contents will go into FDA Legacy (1903.1)? Or after 6 months FDA Legacy (1903.1) will be deprecated completely and the previous version will then become 'FDA Legacy (1907.2)'?

We keep the previous version…

We keep the previous version until the release of new one. Then current version (e.g., "FDA (1907.2)") will be still available under name Legacy (e.g., "FDA Legacy (1907.2)"). Existing Legacy version (e.g., "FDA Legacy (1903.1)") will be completely removed as not applicable anymore.
