Looks like an unsupported Java version. What is the Java version that you are using?
(You can find out with "java -version").
I am using Java version 1.6.0_24-b07. I am using that same Java version for the v2.01 CLI.
The release notes do not say anything about it, but it might be that Java 1.7 is required.
Also Oracle seems to have stopped support for 1.6.
Can you try using Java 1.7 or even 1.8?
Thank you XML4Pharma, that worked. I have tried with version 1.7 and it worked.
Hi,
I am trying to upgrade from v2.0.1 to v2.1 and we only use the CLI. Been trying to get this to run but getting errors.
I even ran the help on the CLI jar file and received the following issues. java -jar validator-cli-2.1.0.jar -help
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: org/opencdisc

Could not find the main class: org.opencdisc.validator.cli.Main. Program will exit.
Can you please help with this as we want to upgrade but we also want to use the CLI.
Thanks,
Steve
