Source/Derivation/Comment Not able to populate

Hi,

I am trying to generate Define.xml usuing OpenCDISC community 2.0.1.

I have generated define.xls spec and, enterd comments in "Variable" sheet last column for all variables but values are not populating in define.xml.

If i put all comments in Origin Column then values are population but suffix ":" is coming after each value.

Please let me know, Am i doing any mistake in define spec or is it issue with define stylesheet.

Hi Saurabh,

To add comments, first you need to create a record in Comments tab. Then provide a reference to it in other tabs using an ID value from Comments tab.

E.g., Variables.Comment=Comments.ID

Note that a column Comment in Variable tab is not a placeholder for actual comments. It keeps a reference to actual comments in Comments tab.

We recommed to generate Excel specs from define.xml included into a CDISC Define.xml v2.0 package and use that file as an example.
