Hi Christian,
Currently ODM validation is at the bottom of our priority list. This is because there is already a free tool available for the job. Take a look at ODMConform, it's free for all CDISC members and can be downloaded from http://www.cdisc.org/content1635.
Thanks,
Max
I appreciate Christian's question. OpenCDISC has "cool tools" ; I haven't evaluated ODMConform yet, but it seems to me that the community would welcome OpenCDISC taking a chance at developing such a tool for free.
Access to ODMconform is apparently now restricted to the paid Members-Only page; I'm already a member of OpenCDISC and have greatly benefitted from that membership more than from cdisc.org; no current membership to CDISC.
I suppose in theory though that the .XSD is sufficient for the validation purpose (i.e. build-your-own-validator) ; but again, OpenCDISC is addressing the toolset need very effectively it seems (e.g. Open CDISC Validator, which is a great tool).
Hello,
are there any plans to support ODM validation?
Kind regards
Christian
