Hi

I receive Error SD0003 when running the OpenCDISC validation (version 1.1 through necessity) on both the data and the define simulatenous.

However, this error is only applicable to 4 date variables (RFSTDTC & RFENDTC in DM, and SVSTDTC & SVSTDTC in SV). After investigation, no obvious issue can be seen with the structure of the data/time, for example 2010-01-25T12:00 (which seems ISO 8601 compliant).

When the OpenCDISC validation is run on only the data, then this issue is not generated, and when it is run on only the define the issue is not generated. It only happens when running it simulatenously on the data and define, which seems to indicate an issue with the linking (maybe the way these variables are defined versus the actual data).

The define was not generated with the OpenCDISC program, but there appears to be no obvious issues (these variables appear to be defined similarly as all the other date variables, and they don't have any issues).

Could somebody kindly point me in the right direction to help me figure out how to solve this problem and eliminate these errors.

Thank you in advance.

Hi

Just wanted to let you know that I managed to find the solution. I was incorrectly specifying these variables as date variables instead of datetime variables. Once I updated their type, OpenCDISC no longer gave the issue.
