Controlled Terminology: P21 Community vs CDISC

Dear all,

It seems there is quite a different xml structure when comparing controlled terminology files from the Pinnacle 21 community folder (C:\Users\user_name\Documents\Pinnacle 21 Community\configs\data\CDISC) versus those released by CDISC (available at https://www.cancer.gov/research/resources/terminology/cdisc).

Is Pinnacle doing modifications to get the community software to handle the files?

Why aren't the original CT files used?

Hi Jeroen,

CT files used for validation are different compare to files available at NCI website.

P21 CT files includes some extensions needed for validation like VLM, subsets of codelist, etc. Other reason was inconsistencies and errors in some versions of CT files from CDISC. We need to maintain the consistent format of CT files across versions.

Note that P21 CT files for Community 2.x and 3.x are different.
